A Collection Of Handmade Miniature Fabric Animals

As there is a great deal of uncertainty about whether art fairs will be feasible in the foreseeable future, I will be offering some of my work in my Etsy shop. I hope to add more pieces soon, so stop in often!

The Three Sisters. According to Native American legend, corn, beans and squash are three inseparable sisters who grow and thrive together. The tradition of planting these three vegetables in mounds  together provided long term soil fertility as well as a healthy diet. This sculpture honors that tradition. Available by special order in a very limited edition, $625.
Also available as a greeting card.

Alice's Animals are designed and handcrafted by northern Minnesota artist Alice Strand. These tiny creatures, most of which are less than three inches tall, are cut from fabric, sewn and stuffed. Meticulous detail, created with hand embroidery, applique and fabric paint, brings them to life.

Open the Catalog to find an extensive listing of pieces that you may order for future delivery. Enter the Studio to meet me and enjoy a close-up look at my techniques. Visit the Gallery to view new pieces and to celebrate special occasions. Check out the Links page for related web sites and a schedule of my Shows.

I also offer a line of greeting cards featuring my own photos of my animals! I'll be offering new designs regularly, so visit the Greeting Cards page often.

If you'd like an email notice about upcoming events, please ask to be put on my Mailing List. Thanks for stopping by!
